And now random thoughts...

• Drummer Ulrich from Metallica said the following about their latest Guitar Hero deal: "It seemed like the next step -- a whole other platform for musicians to reach an audience. If we talk about this in five years, I think it will turn into an expected way to release an album," -- To those old enough to remember Napster vs. Metallica, it seems Ulrich has learned from his mistakes.
• From Louis C.K. Comedy Album, Chewed Up: "Here's how great it is to be white. I can go to any time and it will be fucking awesome when I get there." Listen and watch to the full clip here. Also a 6 minute clip of Louis C.K doing his schtick, a must watch.
• In the war for science and research, I ask a question, "Should we not give our scientists full access to the weaponry they need to do their job? Do substitutes or un-sound alternatives work the same? (like using adult stem cells instead of embryonic cells?) -- Do soldiers in Iraq get water-pistols instead of machine guns? Both are fighting a war in an effort to save American lives.. are they not?"
• I had two nerdgasms today. #1 was at Best Buy after purchasing a new home router and #2 was a surprise while at Kinkos, who knew their self-serve copiers were so advanced?! Nerd heaven.
