Stopover in a Quiet Town

I've always been a massive fan of the original Twilight Zone and recently I was overjoyed to relive part my favorite episode. "Stopover in a Quiet Town" - is the story of a married couple who wake up in a strange deserted neighborhood where everything - houses, animals, trees, grass, the train, is all fake. Panic and confusion ensues as they try to escape an ominous shadow from the sky. It is later revealed that they are playthings inside a young girls' dollhouse. At age 12, I was intrigued  by the idea that humans were a lesser species in a zoo of sorts for a more advanced species.  You can watch the episode on Hulu here. 

Anyways, recently I lived in a developing area which had that perfect dollhouse look:
